Inaugural Man Asian Prize shortlist announced

Five authors made the shortlist for the inaugural edition of the Man Asian Literary Prize. They are Reeti Gadekar, Jiang Rong, Nu Nu Yi Inwa, Xu Xi, and UP ICW associate Dr. Jose Y. Dalisay, Jr.

The Man Asian Literary Prize is the first regional prize for a work unpublished in English. The winner of the prize will be announced on November 10 , 2007 (Saturday) at a ceremony in Hong Kong.
